At Rockingham Primary School, we believe that our children should not only reach their best academically but also develop a thirst for knowledge and a love of learning. Our children are happy learners, who work hard to reach the challenges set by their teachers. We treat all our pupils individually, developing their sense of worth and confidence and encourage unique talents to flourish in every child.

Working with parents is an essential prerequisite to helping us achieve this ambition as we believe that good strong partnerships, coupled with quality teaching and learning and high expectations at all times, will undoubtedly help pupils realise their full potentials, lead to higher levels of attainment, promote good citizenship and prepare pupils well for their future education.

Rockingham Weekly News is our weekly newsletter, which is full of exciting updates about what has happened in school, which pupils have achieved Worker of the Week and future diary dates and more.

Rockingham Primary is proud to be part of the David Ross Education Trust. This allows us to benefit from being part of a larger and extremely successful academic organisation and having access to facilities and opportunities beyond our school. These have included students have performing Shakespeare at the Derngate theatre whilst others have performed in a creative dance festival at The Cube. Many have participated in the Summer Cup with Olympic athletes and the 'Rockingham Voices Choir' have performed at the opening of the Neville Holt Opera House.
