Sports and PE are an important part of life at Rockingham Primary School.

We have varied PE lessons where we develop our skills in Gymnastics, Dance, Athletics and Games.

At Rockingham Primary School, we believe PE helps our children to become well-rounded individuals who are ready to succeed. Not only do we follow a tailored skill-based curriculum called Horizon, we have strong links with a number of schools within our local DRET Cluster of schools.

Every child receives 2 hours of PE lessons per week, plus lunch time activities and the opportunity to participate in our after school sports clubs. Our PE lessons and after school sports clubs offers the children a broad experience of many different sports.

This includes the Winter and Summer Cup against other Primary Schools.
