Welcome to Rockingham Primary School

On behalf of all our staff and pupils, we would like to welcome you to our website.

Rockingham Primary 'has a caring ethos that values pupils and families alike. Staff know families well and pupils feel safe and secure.

Pupils’ personal development and behaviour are good. They work hard in lessons and take pride in their work.' Ofsted report January 2017

A warm welcome to the Rockingham Primary school website.

At Rockingham Primary, we want all of our pupils to feel valued, confident and excited about their learning.  Every pupil has the opportunity to succeed and challenge themselves to become the best they can be. We aim to nurture our children to enjoy a lifelong love of learning and to help them become thoughtful and caring members of the community.

As part of the David Ross Education Trust, we provide a wide-range of opportunities and experiences for our children. As well as striving for academic excellence, we want our pupils to find and develop new talents and interests. Many of our children have performed Shakespeare at the Derngate Theatre, sung in an Opera accompanied by world-acclaimed professionals, competed in sporting festivals alongside famous Olympic greats like Sir Steve Redgrave and Dame Kelly Holmes and performed in concerts with the Voices Foundation.

Our fantastic staff are determined that each child’s experience at Rockingham Primary is happy, successful and memorable.

If you would like to visit the school or require any further information about Rockingham Primary, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can arrange a tour for you.
